Flipy Clock for macOS
Flipy Clock is built so that it cannot collect data about you. This page explains what that means, and exactly where the few pieces of data Flipy does handle actually live.
Your countdowns, count-ups, preferences (theme, font, time format), and any background image you choose are stored in Flipy's macOS sandbox container — that is, in a directory only Flipy can read, inside your user account on your machine. Specifically:
UserDefaults under the
bundle identifier com.flipy.app.~/Library/Containers/com.flipy.app/Data/Library/Application
Support/Flipy/background.dat.None of this data ever leaves your Mac. Uninstalling Flipy and deleting the sandbox container removes it completely.
Flipy collects no data from anyone. Since there is no data collection, there is no special handling needed for users under 13.
If Flipy ever introduces a feature that does collect or transmit data — for example, an opt-in iCloud sync — this page will be updated before that feature ships, and the change will be flagged in the release notes.
